The above titles are not exhaustive. Over the years, I have attended a number of educational programs, seminars and workshops and my training and updating continues in perpetuity.
I have worked as a mental health counselor in Scotland (UK) with individuals and with groups of people with issues of alcoholism and other addictions. I have also worked for 7 years at HMP Edinburgh with prisoners with alcoholism and addiction issues. At the same time, I provide my services in one-on-one counseling therapy.
Some problem areas I cover are related to addictions, depression, anxiety, OCD, trauma, bereavement, relationship issues, anger management issues, ADHD, issues associated with the LGBT community etc.
I receive regular supervision and I am a member of COSCA and the Hellenic Association for Counselling (HAC), practicing within their ethical frameworks. I am also a member of The European Association for Counselling.
Duration of sessions: 60 minutes.
